Wesleyan Mock Trial is one of the country’s best mock trial programs, and our performance improves every year. We currently field three competitive teams. Our “A” team made its first appearance at Nationals in 2017, where we finished seventh in our division. Following the program’s success in 2017, Wesleyan qualified three teams to the Open Round Championship Series (ORCS) in 2018 and 2019 — a feat only a few programs in the country have been able to accomplish. Furthermore, Wesleyan Mock Trial sent two of our teams to the National Championships for the first time in 2019, where our “A” team placed eighth in our division. Based on our performance over the past several years, we are presently ranked within the top 30 in the country by the American Mock Trial Association.
Our members come from all over the world and have many different interests, majors, and career plans. We compete across the country, from Los Angeles, to Washington, D.C., to New York City. We are an extremely close-knit and hardworking team. Our coaches are all recent alumni of WesMock, and the program remains student run at its core. If you are interested in trying out, please follow our Facebook page for updates about the Fall 2019 tryout process. If you are a prospective Wesleyan student, feel free to reach out to our internal president Nia Eddy-Pina (email@example.com), and we would be happy to answer any and all questions about the program.
For tournament invitations and scrimmage requests, please contact our External President, Josh Ng (firstname.lastname@example.org).
